Service to Others:
  • Re-build a 56-foot long foot bridge on the Cross Timbers Hiking Trail at Lake Texoma - September, 2001
  • Act as the service group for the annual Celtic Festival - October, 2000
  • Troop/Community Coat Drive for Mission Arlington - August, 2000 through February, 2001
Goals/Service to the Troop:
  • Organize and lead a Junior Leadership Training Course for all Scouts in Troop 445 holding the rank of Second Class or above - October, 2000
  • Organize and leade a Venture Patrol within Troop 445 - October, 2000
  • Develop and implement an "Honor Patrol" system based on the Baden-Powell Patrol award requirements - September, 2000
Personal Growth
  • Read "Woods Wisdom" and begin to utilize it in PLC Meetings - November, 2000
  • Develop six recipes suitable for backpacking for use on our 2001 CDT Trip - March, 2001
  • Red Cross CPR Certification - December, 2000
I completed my ticket in September of 2001, and was presented with my beads on December 10, 2001 at Troop 445's Winter Court of Honor.  Our Scoutmaster, Elmer Jewell was also presented with his beads at the Court of Honor.
